Top Ten Tuesday, AKA My TBR for July/August

Top Ten Tuesday is a wicked awesome weekly meme from the ladies at The Broke and the Bookish
This week's prompt for Top Ten Tuesday is 'Top Ten Books on my TBR for Summer 2015,' but since I've posted twice this month about my June TBR (here and here), I figured I would just go ahead and post my TBR for July & August (read: way more than 10).

*I'm still working toward my Popsugar Challenge (there will be a check-in post later in June for this), and these books all fill requirements.

Obviously, I have a lot of books that I need to read in July & August!

What books do you have on your TBR for the summer? Let me know!

  1. Oh gosh. I should've done this post! Lord knows, I've got 19 unfinished books that need attention. Sigh. I hope you'll enjoy these!

  2. You've got some really good books on your TBR -- I loved The Start Of Me And You and Saint Anything. Those two are stories that hit in a really good way.

    1. I haven't read anything by Emery Lord yet, but I figured this was a good place to start. And I've ready everything by Sarah Dessen, so I'm really looking forward to Saint Anything!

  3. Unspoken is such a good book and the start to such a brilliant series. Sarah Rees Brennan is one of my faovurite authors, I love her humour and writing style. I really hope you enjoy it! Great choices!

    1. I'm really looking forward to starting Unspoken! I picked up a copy last year, but it just got lost in the madness of my bookshelves.

  4. OO! I'm interested in what you think of Shakespeare's Sonnets!

    1. I've read a handful of them in the past for school, but this will be the first time I'll read them all in one fell swoop. However, it's been so long since I read any of them that I really don't remember how I felt!

  5. Ella Enchanted is such a great book! All of your other books are either already in my TBR pile or have been recently added. Great list!

  6. I've got The Tudor of my TBR list, but I'm not sure when I'll get to it - maybe this fall? I still need to read A Thousand Pieces of You and 99 Days myself!

    1. I got an advanced copy from Penguin ages ago, but I haven't been in the mood for it yet. BUT I owe them a review, so I'll be buckling down this summer!

    1. Hope so! I loved The DUFF, so I imagine I'll like Shut Out as well. And it's based on Lysistrata, which I read in school and enjoyed.

  8. The Veronica Mars books are great. I never watched the series and the books made me want to do so. Also, I really enjoyed Saint Anything. Enjoy your reading!

    1. Thank you! The TV show is great, as is the movie; the first book picks up where the movie leaves off, so if you like the books, you should definitely check out the show & movie.
